1. Who these terms cover

Disidente Kenya is operated by Disidente Technologies, based in Nairobi, Kenya. These terms apply to all services booked and all digital goods ordered through WhatsApp, phone, email, or this website — including international clients paying by card through Flutterwave or Pesapal. On-site network and server work is generally limited to Kenya; digital marketplace orders and remote server/network consulting are available to clients anywhere, subject to product region restrictions noted below.

2. Network & infrastructure services

MikroTik configuration, Ubiquiti point-to-point link installation, and server configuration work is quoted individually based on the scope of the job. Specifically:

• A firm quote is given only after the site, network, or server has been assessed — remotely or in person as appropriate to the job.
• Work begins once the quote is accepted and any agreed deposit is paid.
• For on-site work, access to the premises and hardware, and any required third-party permissions (e.g. building access for tower or rooftop installs), are the client's responsibility to arrange.
• Point-to-point link performance depends on factors outside our control once installed, including weather, interference from other radios, and physical obstructions introduced after installation.
• Where a client supplies their own hardware, we are not responsible for pre-existing faults in that hardware.

3. Digital marketplace orders

PlayStation gift cards and Xbox Game Pass subscriptions are sold subject to the following:

• Prices and stock are confirmed at the time of order over WhatsApp and may change without prior notice.
• It is the client's responsibility to provide the correct account region, platform, and any details needed for successful redemption.
• Codes are delivered electronically once payment is confirmed; delivery times may vary outside normal business hours.
• Gift cards and subscription codes are subject to the respective terms of Sony Interactive Entertainment (PlayStation) and Microsoft (Xbox), which govern redemption and use of the underlying product.

4. Payment

Payment is accepted via M-Pesa for clients in Kenya, and by debit/credit card through Flutterwave or Pesapal for international clients or anyone who prefers to pay by card. For network services, deposits may be required before work begins, with the balance due on completion unless a different arrangement is confirmed in writing (including via WhatsApp) beforehand.

Card payments are processed directly by Flutterwave or Pesapal — we do not see or store your full card number. Charges may be billed in a currency other than Kenyan Shillings depending on the processor and your card issuer, and small variations from quoted KES prices can occur due to exchange rate conversion at the time of payment; this is outside our control.

5. Cancellations

Network service bookings can be rescheduled or cancelled at no charge before work begins; cancellation after work has started may be billed for time and materials already committed. Digital marketplace orders can be cancelled only before a code has been generated or sent — see our Refund Policy for full detail.

6. Liability

We take reasonable care in all network, server, and installation work, following manufacturer guidance and standard industry practice. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost business income) arising from network downtime, third-party service outages, or issues with hardware not supplied by us. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under Kenyan law.

7. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time; the current version is always the one posted on this page.

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.
